What happens when you reach out
Call the number on the site or send the project form and a turf advisor confirms the basics: what you’re turfing, roughly how large it is, your ZIP code and when you’d like it done. We then connect you with an installer who serves your area and has built that kind of project before. The installer contacts you directly to walk the site and prepare a written proposal.
You are never obligated to go ahead. If the installer isn’t a fit, tell us and we’ll look for another.
How installers are vetted
- Active business license and general liability insurance where the state requires them
- Experience with the project type: residential lawns, pet systems, putting greens, playgrounds or athletic fields
- Written proposals that itemize base depth, product, infill rate, seam method and warranties
- Workmanship warranty offered in writing alongside the manufacturer’s product warranty
Installers who generate complaints about unfinished work, unlicensed crews or proposals that don’t match the finished job are removed from our network.
How this site is funded
Sports Turf Manager is an independent resource. Installers in our network pay us when we connect them with a project, either per call or per completed connection. That fee is paid by the installer, never by you, and it never changes the proposal you receive. Our editorial guides are written independently and are not influenced by any installer or manufacturer.
We are not affiliated with the Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA) or any turf manufacturer.
Contact and privacy
Information you submit is used to confirm your project and share it with the installer we match you with. We don’t sell your information to anyone else. To update or remove your details, call the number on the site.
